Collection of Hired Items

Xefralexllchon provides collection services for all hired furniture and décor items throughout Great Britain. Collection will be arranged at a time agreed upon in your booking agreement, typically the day after your celebration, wedding, corporate event, or private party, or as specified. Our collection service covers events in England, Scotland, and Wales, with our team based in London coordinating collections across Great Britain. We collect furniture and décor items from venues including hotels, stately homes, barns, marquees, and private residences throughout the UK.

Collection Process

Scheduled Collection

Our team will arrive at the agreed collection time to retrieve all hired items. You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Access to the venue at the scheduled collection time
  • All hired items are in the location where they were originally set up
  • Items are ready for collection (not in use or obstructed)
  • Any personal items or decorations you added are removed from hired items

Collection Delays

If you need to reschedule collection, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Additional charges may apply for collection outside the agreed schedule or for multiple collection attempts.

Condition of Returned Items

Expected Condition

Hired items should be returned in the same condition as when delivered, allowing for normal wear and tear from appropriate use during your event. Normal wear and tear includes:

  • Minor scuffing on furniture legs from normal use
  • Light surface marks that can be cleaned
  • Expected wear from guests using items as intended

Damage Assessment

Upon collection, our team will assess the condition of all items. If damage beyond normal wear and tear is identified, we will:

  • Document the damage with photographs
  • Provide you with a detailed damage report
  • Calculate repair or replacement costs
  • Invoice you for the necessary repairs or replacement

Damage Charges

You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of hired furniture and décor items during the rental period at your event venue in Great Britain. Charges will be based on:

  • Repair costs for furniture and décor items that can be restored to their original condition
  • Replacement value for items that cannot be repaired, based on current UK market prices for similar furniture and décor pieces
  • Current market value in British Pounds (GBP) of lost or stolen items, assessed at UK replacement costs

All charges will be clearly itemized in British Pounds and communicated to you before processing. Payment for damage charges must be made in GBP within 14 days of collection.

Missing Items

If any hired items are missing at the time of collection, you will be charged the full replacement value of the missing items. Please ensure all items are accounted for and accessible for collection.

Early Return

If you wish to return furniture and décor items earlier than the scheduled collection time from your venue in Great Britain, please contact us at our London office to arrange an earlier collection. Early return does not entitle you to a refund for unused rental time, as the furniture and décor items were reserved exclusively for your full rental period. Collection will be arranged from your venue location in England, Scotland, or Wales.

Extended Rental

If you need to extend your furniture and décor rental period for your celebration, wedding, corporate event, or private party in Great Britain, please contact us at our London office as soon as possible. Extensions are subject to furniture and décor item availability and may incur additional charges in British Pounds (GBP). We cannot guarantee availability for extensions requested at short notice, particularly during peak event seasons across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Disputes

If you disagree with any damage assessment or charges for furniture and décor items collected from your venue in Great Britain, please contact us at our London office within 48 hours of collection. We will review your concerns and work with you to resolve any disputes fairly and transparently. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may have rights under UK consumer protection laws applicable in England, Scotland, and Wales. Disputes will be governed by UK law and subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.

Refund Policy

Refunds for cancellations of furniture and décor hire bookings in Great Britain are governed by our Terms of Use and the cancellation policy outlined in your booking agreement. All refunds will be processed in British Pounds (GBP) to the original payment method. Refunds are not available for early returns or unused rental time, as furniture and décor items are reserved exclusively for your use during the agreed rental period. Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment method and UK banking procedures.
